Data Security and Privacy
We put data security and privacy utmost on our list of priorities when we build or update our software. Our encryption algorithms to protect your sensitive data and communications, include AES-256 and TLS 1.2. In addition all your data is stored securely, encrypted and seperately from the web server.
User Authentication & Permissions
Users access the site only with a valid username and password combination, which is encrypted during transmission. Permissions can be edited or revoked at any time.
The Security of encryption and Firewalls
All of our database server(s) are firewalled and set to “deny all” inbound traffic by default.
Operating System Security
We enforce tight security by closely controlling the access points to our production servers. We protect all operating system accounts with strong passwords, and utilize “best practice” password policies. All software is maintained at each vendor’s recommended patch levels for security.
Database Security
Database access is controlled at the operating system and database connection level for additional security. Access to production databases is strictly limited to a number of points.
Server Security
All data that you input into our application is owned by you and you alone. Our employees do not have direct access to production data, except where necessary for system maintenance, configuration, monitoring, and backups.
Reliability & Backup
Our Servers are hosted by Linode / Akamai’s managed security and database servers.
